Compensation limits -annual increase announced

For dismissals occurring on or after 6th April 2022:

  • the limit on a week's pay for the purposes of calculating basic awards and redundancy payments increases from £544 to £571

  • The maximum compensatory award goes up from £89,493 to £93,878
